For this Teddy bear you need the following:

  • More than 5 packets of 600 loombands
  • A hook
  • A loom
  • Stuffing
  • button eyes

We got this adorable teddy idea from following a crochet design.

By following this video was were i got the idea to make this adorable teddy bear, but just using loombands.

When starting this  Amigurumi Teddy Bear Loomband i started from the top of his head and then worked down to his body, Learnt from the basics of these videos listed above, to learn how to make the teddy smaller and larger. For other words how to  decrease and increase.

When making this cute teddy i was counting my stitch work all the time so that i never lost my count while making this design, very important to make sure you always keep track of where to start and to end.

This  Amigurumi Teddy Bear Loomband has a larger head to body, because the legs are placed below the body , if the body is larger than the head the  Amigurumi Teddy Bear Loomband will look out of proportion.

After making the body i tried to make the ears stand out more , but found out that once making a nice even half circle i flattened it and it gave the beautiful impression of the indentation of a real teddy bear. After creating the two ears i use a clear brand of looms to attach  each piece of attachment to the  Amigurumi Teddy Bear Loomband.

Adding and making the legs and arms were a lot of fun, Once you have made either the arms or the legs only stuff the ends of the teddy, because if you stuff it too much the legs and arms seem to stand up to much making once again the  Amigurumi Teddy Bear look out of proportion.

When stuffing the  Amigurumi Teddy Bear try not over stuff your design, because this will result to your stuffing showing through your bands.
